Welcome blog fans! This is my inaugural blog posting and I know you are expecting greatness, but I am here to tell you....don't. I am easing into the blog waters slowly so as not to overwhelm anyone. I was thinking it would be nice to have a casual gathering place where friends could get together and discuss current events and I realized there could be no better place than the Regal Beagle from Three's Company. Think of the Catbox as the virtual Regal Beagle of the interweb. I invite you all to come on the blog journey with me. So come on, knock on my door and take a step that is new....

From your first real post I am unsure how to take this blog. Is it serious? Is it a forum for us to share our political views? Because honestly all that I would like to do is to talk about A-list celebrities. Celebrities like Bruce Vilanch, that guy from "Too Close to Comfort" and then of course the most famous A-list celebrity of all . . . Whoopi.

Well, Well, greatness is amongst us. I shall add your blog to my daily check up. Just to warn you I will be freely expressing my views and opinions, I hold nothing back. I can't talk the celebrity jargon but will come up with something.
Oh Kitty, of course it's serious. We will be discussing all sorts of serious topics like celebrities and their personal lives and important developments in TV and film. If you have a topic, I'll discuss it.
Ross- Thank you for the kudos. You imput will be demanded on all postings, particularly any that relate to Legos, robots, &/or architecture.
Shana- If there is one life lesson I have learned it is comment on everything. I would advise you and everyone else to live by these profound words.
Let's discuss fall movies and the fall television schedule. Seriously I don't know how I am going to go to work with all of the tv and movie watching I am going to be doing.

I was beginning to wonder if there was such a forum on the world wide web. I'm relieved to know that this is the place I can come for my daily news. Sometimes cnn.com goes REALLY slow, so now I can just skip it all together and come straight the the catbox. Thanks, Toddcat. Thanks.
I will do my best not to let my news fans down. I believe in hard core investigative reporting so no stone will be left unturned. Basically what that means is I will regurgitate anything interesting I see during my daily web surfs. I'll probably need to subscribe to "the Text" to have my finger on the pulse of world news.
